Flawed stem cell data withdrawn - opinion - 15 February 2007 - New Scientist

Flawed stem cell data withdrawn - opinion - 15 February 2007 - New Scientist: "Many researchers are unable even to isolate them (adult stem cells). “They’re very testy cells,” observes Amy Wagers of Harvard University, who spent a week in Verfaillie’s lab trying in vain to learn the technique. "

Adult stem cells are hard to work with, hence the lack of studies, or extremely difficult to duplicate studies.

Your own stem cells would love to help you feel better, but they need some help getting around in there! Give them a fighting chance.

Have a look at my post on the recent Osiris study using stem cells to try & repair the meniscus in the knee. There was some effect on cartilage, but not on the meniscus.
www.jointrepair.blogspot.com. Anybody know of other human studies where whole stem cells have been injected??
